CHALLENGE
A book with work from 10 different illustrators. The author needed to produce a children’s book in a short timeframe. The goal was to create a cosy autumn adventure that would appeal to children and parents as well while maintaining consistency with the other illustrators involved in the project.

Solution
To meet the tight deadline, it was established a system of a hand-drawn look but executed digitally to speed up the process. Starting with pencil sketches, texture and colour were added in Photoshop. For one of the key scenes, featuring apple products, we made the main character’s favourite treat—apple pie 🥧—a central element, bringing in personal touches to enhance the warmth and charm of the autumn setting.
